Carter Family Halloween Party

 

Chris's Aunt Kim always goes all out for the holidays and has lot's of fun parties, with the help of Grandma Carter and Aunt Susie making the best treat's for every occasion. All the grandchildren love her parties and I am sure Lucy will be no exception. Thanks for such a great time, Lucy especially loved playing with Emrey and Lily her cousins.....and it you can't tell Lucy is our little "Stinker" for Halloween (a skunk).

Oh Nuts!

Here are some photo's of Lucy about 5 hours about her initial taste! So sad...

This week, after Lucy delightfully licked a finger of peanut butter, we found out that she will never know the joys of Reese's, Snickers, Peanut Brittle and ever thing else yummy in the world because she has a peanut allergy.

Unfortunately, Chris and I weren't with Lucy when she initially had the peanut butter, but we did get to her quickly and were able to rush her to the hospital. Fortunately, her airwaves never got backed up. We are very grateful that we know about her peanut allergy now and eagerly anticipate going to get an allergy test in a couple of weeks. We know are carrying an EppiPen everywhere we go and following the doctor's orders.... No peanut butter in the house!
